Huckabee, O'Malley Suspend Presidential Campaigns

February 02, 2016

Republican candidate Mike Huckabee and Democratic candidate Martin O'Malley suspended their 2016 U.S. Presidential Election campaigns after poor showings in Iowa caucuses.

"I am officially suspending my campaign. Thank you all for your loyal support" Huckabee said on Twitter after poor showings in Iowa.

O'Malley said he was suspending the campaign at a speech as vote counts were being reported. Over 99 percent of the Democratic caucus participants chose either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.
