Saudi Hospital Fire Kills 25

A hospital fire in southwestern Saudi Arabia killed 25 people and injured 100, media reports suggested Thursday.

According to Al Jazeera, the fire started in the early hours of Thursday in the city of Jizan on the first floor of the hospital.

The media outlet added that maternity and intensive care units were both located on the first floor.

The reasons behind the blaze are being determined, with Saudi authorities investigating on the scene.
