The leading smartphone brand Huawei, and Singer Sri Lanka PLC. the country’s number one brand and smartphone marketer and the exclusive national distributor for Huawei, recognized its top retail partners in the country at a gala function held at Waters Edge recently.

Themed "You are the One", the inaugural retail partner awards was graced by Mr. Asoka Pieris - CEO Singer Sri Lanka PLC  and Mr. Daniel Sun - CEO Huawei Sri Lanka. More than 250 Huawei dealers were recognized for their commitment and dedication bestowed towards the brand throughout its two and half years of operations in the country. From a retail partner network of over 1500. The 10 best performers were short listed on their sales performance, brand loyalty and partnership for brand expansion during the FY14.

The Retail Partner Awards Ceremony comprised 5 categories of which Ahmed Rizvi Rifkhan from iDealz Lanka was judged as the Best Retail Partner of the Year whilst Mr. Sunil Thilakawardana from Thilakawardana Cellular Center and Mr. Mohamed Rushdi Mouzan of Phonez was adjudged as the runner-up and second runners up respectively.

In addition to that Huawei Smartphones are available through the country’s largest retail network Singer, including, Singer Mega, Singer Plus and SISIL World stores, comprising of over 400 retail outlets and Singer’s digital media channel that serves 1500 digital media outlets across the country.
