PR Wire, the Sri Lankan affiliate of the world's largest independent public relations firm Edelman, has become the first independent PR agency in Sri Lanka to be certified as “CarbonNeutral®”. The certification was granted by Carbon Consulting Company (CCC), Sri Lanka’s premier carbon footprint expert.
The CCC conducted the organizational greenhouse gas assessment for PR Wire to assess the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions arising from its operational activities. This GHG assessment was based on the WBCSD/WRI GHG Protocol, which is also compliant with the Carbon Disclosure Project.
