Lanka Hospitals School of Nursing (LHSN) Holds the Capping Ceremony & Graduation Ceremony for Two Batches

Lanka Hospitals School of Nursing (LHSN), recently held the graduation ceremony of the 2019 batch alongside the capping ceremony of the students of its 2021 batch.  Lanka Hospitals Nursing School is the first nursing school in Sri Lanka to adopt the latest NVQ level 6 nursing curriculum (Higher National Diploma) approved by the Tertiary & Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). 51 students from the 2021 batch who took part in the capping ceremony will be the 2nd batch to sit for the NVQ Level-6 Higher National Diploma in Nursing while 37 nursing graduates from the 2019 batch joined the hospital as employed staff.

Lanka Hospitals School of Nursing (LHSN) was inaugurated in 2001 in order to meet the rising demand for trained nursing professionals in Sri Lanka’s private healthcare sector and LHSN has been the main supplier of trained nurses to Lanka Hospitals since the inception. LHSN recruit about 50 students on average every year and the course is conducted in English medium, producing top notch professionals at the end of the programme.
