Car carrier vessel ‘Spring Sky’ reached Colombo harbor few days back carrying one of the largest vehicle stocks to export Sri Lanka. According to Jayantha Perera, Director – Operations of Sri Lanka Ports Authority the vessel is docked in East Container Terminal (ECT). This is the first car carrier vessel to be docked in ECT. ECT is the deepest pier in Colombo harbor. 18m deep pier can accommodate largest vessels. 

165m long ‘Spring Sky’ contained 1539 brand new Renault KWID cars from India.
