Statistics from Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority shows that July 2016 has recorded the highest tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka.

209,351 visits were recorded and it represents a growth of 19.1 percent compared to July last year.  Since records began in sixties, this is the highest number recorded in a single month.
