The 2nd International Conference on Aquaculture and Fisheries – 2015 was successfully conducted by the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) under the theme of “Aquaculture in a global age” on 25th and 26th of August at Hotel Galadari.

This time parallel to the conference an exhibition was organized on Fisheries and Aquaculture with the participation of local & foreign businesses as well as with the participation of governmental bodies like the Export Development Board, The National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency and National Aquaculture Development Authority.

The conference was conducted with the participation of Dr. K. Pani Prasad Professor at Central Institute of Fisheries Education, India as the conference chair and Dr. Rohana Subasinghe, Senior Fishery Resources Officer (Aquaculture), Aquaculture Management and Conservation Service,Fisheries and Aquaculture Department,Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Dr. Farshad Shishehchian , The President of the World Aquaculture Society, Asia Pacific Chapter & the President & CEO of Blue Aqua International groups of companies and Prof (Dr.) H.Shivananda Murthy , Professor & Head, Dept of Aquaculture at the Karnataka Veterinary & Fisheries Sciences University, College of Fisheries, Mangalore.
